Alpine Shop 60th Anniversary Poster

I designed this commemorative poster for Alpine Shop's 60th anniversary, celebrating the Burlington retailer's long-standing connection to Vermont's outdoor community. Drawing on my passion for skiing and illustration, I sought to preserve the shop's vintage alpine aesthetic while introducing my own artistic style. The final design honors the brand's heritage while incorporating contemporary illustration and design techniques.

This project challenged me to create depth and atmosphere through the careful use of color, texture, and value. Built from hundreds of digital layers and blending effects, the illustration uses subtle overlays to achieve rich hues, shading, and a hand-crafted feel. The mountain backdrop depicts Sugarbush Resort's two peaks in Vermont's Mad River Valley, grounding the piece in a recognizable local landscape. The snowboard graphic features a playful nod to Alpine Shop VT's slogan and adventurous spirit, tying the illustration back to the personality of the brand.
